The Fine Print - (Updated 10-03-2006)

The Richmond Beer Run has been in contact with members of the ABC Board, the State agency that regulates alcohol consumption. A few changes to our October 7 event were necessary. The first is that the name of the event has been changed to the Oktoberfest 5K Run. While beer and other alcohol will continue to be sold at the restaurants involved with this event, the Oktoberfest 5K Run itself is not permitted to promote the sale and consumption of alcohol. Complimentary soft drinks will also be available for wristband holders.

In addition, we regret to inform you that Richbrau Brewery will no longer be involved in this event.  Any person starting from this restaurant will now be starting from Sine Irish Pub.

You will receive a confirmation e-mail or phone call verifying
your starting restaurant and participant number.

Maximum 150 persons registered per restaurant.
walk-up/day-of registrations are only accepted at
Buffalo Wild Wings and Stool Pigeons only

Check-in starts at 10:30 am Oct 7th; please bring the proper identification for check in purposes.  At this check-in you will receive your Oktoberfest admission ticket, event t-shirt for those registered before 9-8-06 and an event wristband.

*This event is NOT a race - it's a run/walk with a shot-gun start.
Shotgun start means participants will start at separate locations
and rotate from restaurant to restaurant.

The mail in registration time frame has expired (on 10-1-06).

All participants must follow the assigned course
(use sidewalks - no road will be closed for this event);
obey all crosswalks, traffic signals and signs and course direction.

Any registration forms received after 10-1-06 may be returned or
you will be instructed to a particular restaurant for the event.

Consumption of alcohol is not promoted.
If you do drink, drink responsibly and always use a designated driver.

City Police will enforce any and all laws and violations.

This is a rain or shine event and the fee is non-refundable & non-transferable.

We reserve the right to change these rules safety reasons.
